We are looking for a Pastry Chef for the next season 2026 to join our team.

The ideal candidate is passionate about hospitality and comfortable with challenges. He/She is willing to provide authentic and luxury experiences, demonstrating care, confidence, curiosity and community.

He/She will Report to the Executive Chef.

Main Duties & Responsabilities:

· Design, develop, and oversee the production of all pastry, dessert, and bakery items for our restaurants, special events, and in-room dining, ensuring the highest quality standards.

· Maintain impeccable aesthetics and exceptional taste in every creation, reflecting the elegance and refinement of Splendido.

· Manage and motivate the pastry team, providing guidance and constructive feedback to foster a collaborative and productive work environment.

· Ensure compliance with hygiene and sanitation regulations (HACCP) and food safety standards throughout all preparation and storage phases.

· Manage inventory, ordering, and cost control for the pastry section, optimizing efficiency without compromising quality.

· Collaborate closely with the Executive Chef and the rest of the kitchen team to develop new menus and special offerings that enhance the guests' gastronomic experience.

· Stay updated on pastry trends and new techniques, introducing innovations when appropriate.

Requirements

· Proven experience as a Pastry Chef in luxury hotels or Michelin-starred restaurants.

· Profound knowledge of and passion for classic and modern pastry, with a strong focus on detail and presentation.

· Demonstrated ability to manage and inspire a team.

· Excellent organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills.

· Flexibility and ability to work in a dynamic environment.

· Fluent in Italian and English.

· HACCP certification and knowledge of food safety regulations.

Benefits

· We offer seasonal Labour contract according to C.C.N.L. Settore Turismo - Level 2, Pastry Chef;

· Start date: April 2026. End date: November 2026, with the aim of a continuous collaboration over subsequent seasons at Splendido and a career path;

· Salary as by CCNL + increase based on seniorirty and skill level, separate payslip for 13°,14° and TFR;

· Accomodation in our staff house including breakfast;

· Staff cantine;

· Bus ticket as benefit for the contract period;
