Based in Milan, you will take on responsibility for providing support to the Payments Sales Managers to manage client relationships and drive sales.Job SummaryAs a Payments FIG Sales – Analyst within our dynamic sales team, you will play a crucial role in supporting Sales Managers in fostering client relationships and promoting sales. Your responsibilities will encompass the preparation of client research, pitching material, industry analysis, and project assignments. You will also review and analyze transactional data, providing a unique insight into the client's account structure, cash flow, product usage, and regional/global setup. Furthermore, you will coordinate cross-functional stakeholder engagement to ensure alignment with broader firm-wide interests and the clients' objectives. The successful candidate will be fluent in English and Italian. This is a Fixed Term Contact for 12 months.Job Responsibilities
Support Sales team on sales pitch materials, prepare client research, industry analysis and project assignments.Prepare client account plans, briefing memos, and portfolio management reporting.Assist Sales team to ensure that clients are receiving agreed services.Review and analyse transactional data to identify key trends, risks, pricing/billing inefficiencies.Support the team to manage the end-to-end sales cycle including pricing and fee billing set up.Understand the client's account structure, cash flow, product usage and regional/global setup.Support Sales managers with preparation of proposals and material for internal approvals.Conduct research on existing client portfolios and prospective clients. Provide fundamental research on wallet and how to grow it.Be part of the team to help with due diligence to understand transaction flows and identify associated risks, ensuring robust Anti-Money Laundering (AML) compliance processes.Contribute as the voice of the client in cross-functional partner engagement to ensure alignment with broader firm wide interests and the clients' objectives.Develop both internal and client relationships with Sales team key stakeholders.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to synthesize complex problems into concise conclusions.Ability to mobilize internal networks and resources.Must be proficient in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.Aspire to develop the necessary sales and technical skills to ultimately assume a Sales role.Results oriented. Able to work under pressure within tight timeframes.Fluent Italian and English
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
Bachelor's degree or equivalent.Proven technical skills - financial modelling / analysis - expertise in Excel / Power Point will be plus.Self-starter with high levels of energy and enthusiasm, resilience and motivation and a team player who is passionate about exceptional service delivery to customersCan-do attitude and focus on delivery and execution alongside organized and discipline with the ability to handle demands and priorities
