Our client, a global manufacturer of leading technologies in circuit protection, power control & sensing, has tasked us with searching for the role of a:
FINANCE MANAGER
The resource will be tasked with overseeing and optimizing the financial operations of the manufacturing plant and will play a crucial role in evaluating financial accounting statements, ensuring compliance with Italian regulatory requirements and corporate policies, and implementing strategies to improve operational costs.
Main Responsibilities:
* Create and analyze accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
* Lead reconciliations and ensure compliance with accounting policies.
* Plan and implement internal controls to maintain a robust financial environment.
* Support audits and prepare financial justifications for capital projects.
* Evaluate internal procedures to enhance reporting and data analysis.
* Identify cost trends, propose solutions, and ensure operations align with plans.
* Prepare monthly internal financial reports for presentation to senior management.
* Train and mentor the accounting team to support their professional development and career advancement.
* Ensure compliance with statutory general ledger and tax laws.
Requirements:
* Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
* 5–7 years of financial management experience, ideally within a manufacturing company.
* Industry experience in Engineering, Automotive, Mechanical, or Industrial sectors.
* Extensive understanding of local and federal tax laws.
* Relevant certifications, such as CPA or ACCA would be beneficial.
* Strong financial and business acumen, with a focus on data-driven decision-making.
* Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
* Advanced spreadsheet and database software skills.
* Fluency in Italian and English (written and spoken).
* Managerial experience, with a demonstrated ability to train and develop teams.
* Leadership experience with excellent interpersonal skills in multicultural environments.
