Your Role And ResponsibilitiesIn this role, you will be responsible for driving sales of the Home Solutions portfolio, with a strong focus on wiring accessories (serie civili) and door entry systems (videocitofonia), in line with the local sales strategy. You will achieve both qualitative and quantitative sales targets to ensure sustainable growth in orders, revenues, profitability, market share, and customer satisfaction. You will be responsible for identifying, developing, and managing sales opportunities with key stakeholders such as electrical distributors, installers, and designers. The work model for the role is contributing to the Electrification business area – Smart Buildings-Home Solutions in Italy. Main stakeholders are distributors, installers, system integrators, designers, and internal marketing and product teams. You'll be accountable for:
Sell products and solutions within the Home Solutions portfolio, focusing on volume, mix, and profitability targets
Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, understanding their needs and promoting ABB's complete offering in wiring accessories and door entry systems
Ensure a positive customer experience throughout the entire sales process
Prepare and implement sales plans using ABB tools and in line with the assigned territory strategy
Monitor sales performance, conduct regular reviews, and propose recovery actions when needed
Create added value for customers and ABB by leveraging effective sales techniques and solution selling
Communicate clearly with customers regarding delivery times, pricing, payment terms, and commercial conditions
Support and execute marketing initiatives, effectively communicating the value proposition of the portfolio
Identify and develop new business opportunities, especially within residential and light commercial segments
Manage administrative procedures related to sales processes and support cash collection and project follow-up, when required
Prepare technical and commercial offers in coordination with marketing and proposal teams
Ensure all offers meet technical and financial requirements, including correct pricing and commercial conditions
Qualifications For The Role
You have 3–5 years of experience in the residential electrical or home automation sector, with a focus on wiring accessories and/or door entry systems
You have solid experience working with electrical distributors, installers, and channel partners
You have proven knowledge of electrical products and residential solutions, particularly in Home Solutions portfolio
You are comfortable using CRM and sales tools, and managing structured sales processes
You are passionate about sales, customer engagement, and achieving results, with strong communication and negotiation skills
Degree or technical background in electrical engineering or equivalent experience is a plus
You are at ease communicating in Italian and English (plus)
Availability to travel within the assigned territory
