We help customers manage power safely, efficiently, and sustainably—today and for the future. We are currently seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to join our team in Italy and Spain. This role will be based in Italy, offering remote work flexibility, and requires regular travel to engage with leads and clients across Italy and Spain. As Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for driving profitable growth of our Devices product lines ( such as MTL and MEDC) in the Italy-Spain region. You will serve as the technical expert for direct sales, develop strategic business plans, and identify new market opportunities. Your success will be measured by sales growth from both existing and new customers, as well as your contribution to market development and profit planning throughout the business cycle What you’ll do: - Drives growth for product line business in the core markets by identifying new opportunities and executing strategic action plans to turn new opportunities into profitable business growth. - Monitor market trends and competitor activity to inform business strategy. - Achieve regional sales targets in line with budget expectations. - Collaborate with the Zone team and European sales leadership on regional sales and profit planning. - Lead and coordinate project pursuits across multiple regions. - Contribute to the Zone team and wider European Regional sales & profit plan - Coordinate and manage project pursuit with the other regions - Manage CRM systems, project tracking, and customer databases. - Develop and execute a business plan with the Zone Leader focused on top-line sales growth - Identify new business development opportunities and potential new routes to market, developing a business development strategy relating to the sales objective. Qualifications: - Degree in Business, Engineering, Technology, or equivalent experience. - Minimum 10 years of sales experience in related fields. - Proven track record in business development and direct sales across multiple countries. - Experience in large matrix organizations preferred. Skills: - "Instrumentation oriented" would be as a plus, such as measurement, Telecom or DCS familliar, - Deep understanding of sales channels and customer relationships. - Strategic thinker with an agile, entrepreneurial mindset to balance both the short and long term needs of the business - Strong leadership and execution of commercial objectives. - Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills. - Ability to build strong relationships and influence stakeholders. - High ethical standards with a focus on safety and compliance. - Accurate forecasting and customer retention capabilities.
