The Company focuses on solar power project development, construction, management and project financing services with local professional teams in more than 10 countries around the world. /p pEmeren's Italy team is looking for a Legal counsel to join our team in Milan, Italy, in order to support Emeren’s rapidly growing solar and storage business and contribute to the transition to a low carbon, sustainable economy. /p pAs our Legal Counsel, you will provide strategic legal and compliance support on a wide range of topics, with a strong focus onb real estate, corporate law, contract management, administrative law in relation to renewable energy /b. /p pYou’ll act as a trusted advisor to cross-functional teams, ensure legal compliance on complex projects, and serve as a key interface with external stakeholders including regulators and public authorities. /p h3Duties and Responsibilities /h3 ul liEnsure accurate, timely and professional advice to project team members in all projects related legal topics (such as revision of documents, contracts, due diligence). /li liReview and approve contracts in relation to MA opportunities, land acquisitions, consultancy, brokerage, real estate, corporate and conventions with authorities. /li liClose collaboration with other departments to lead projects from a legal point of view. /li liAct as main contact point and full accountability of further developing internal governance guidelines in order to ensure compliance with the Company as well as externals. /li liEnsure timely information about any potential legal risks and changes. /li liResearch and evaluate various, sometimes complex risk factors regarding business decisions and operations and ensure timely communication and escalation to and the relevant Company’s stakeholders. /li liApply effective risk management and offer proactive advice on possible legal issues /li liCommunicate and negotiate with external parties (regulators, external counsel, public authority, etc.), managing business relationships in the Company’s best interest. /li liDraft and solidify agreements, contracts and other legal documents to ensure the Company’s full legal rights. /li liDeal with complex matters with multiple stakeholders and forces. /li liAct in line with Company regulations and upon request as legal representative of Company’s official registered locations. /li /ul h3Qualifications /h3 ul liLegal degree; post‑degree specialization in law/business school is a plus. /li li3–5 years of experience in a legal role—ideally in the renewables sector. /li liDeep understanding of the renewable energy (solar) industry, regulations, and market landscape. /li liFluent in Italian and English; other languages are a plus. /li liStrong ethics, adaptability, teamwork, and communication skills. /li liProficiency with MS Office tools. /li /ul pJoining our team offers you an opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment, where your contributions are valued.
