As part of the Belgian multinational Soudal Group, the company is recognized for continuous innovation across the wood–furniture, packaging and textile industries.\n\nPosition Purpose\nThe Sales Area Manager for Central Europe is responsible for developing and managing commercial activities across the assigned territories (Germany, Belgium, Scandinavia, the Netherlands, Austria). The role aims to strengthen market presence, expand customer relationships, support distributors and contribute to the company’s growth objectives.\nThe position may be based either in Italy or in one of the target countries.\n\nKey Responsibilities\nConduct regular customer visits to increase sales volume and market penetration\nManage and develop relationships with direct customers and distribution partners\nProvide technical support and training to distributors and end users\nCollaborate closely with Product Management teams on new product launches and market introduction plans\nPrepare and maintain monthly sales forecasts and annual budget proposals\nDevelop and maintain a strong understanding of the assigned Central European markets, including competitive landscape, pricing structure, and customer needs\nBuild and nurture solid business relationships, particularly within German‑speaking markets\nEnsure alignment with company commercial strategies and reporting requirements.\n\nRequired Qualifications & Competencies\nEducation & Technical Skills\nDegree or diploma in a chemical or technical field\nSolid knowledge of MS Office tools.\nProfessional Experience\nPrevious sales experience in at least one of the following sectors: adhesives, coatings, wood‑furniture technologies, packaging, or textiles\nDemonstrated ability to manage both direct customers and distributors.\nLanguage Skills\nProficiency in German and English (mandatory)\nExcellent command of French (mandatory)\nKnowledge of the local language, Italy (nice to have)\nSoft Skills\nStrong communication and interpersonal skills\nHigh level of autonomy, organization and goal orientation\nAbility to develop long-term relationships and build trust with customers\nProblem‑solving mindset and adaptability to different markets\nMobility\nAvailability for frequent travel across Italy and Central Europe.\n\nWork Arrangement\nHybrid working model .\nInitial training period at the company headquarters in Prata di Pordenone (PN), Italy .\n\nPreferred Residence\nGermany, Belgium, Scandinavia, the Netherlands, Austria, or Italy (ideally within these regions).\n\nAdditional Information\nThis role plays a key part in supporting the company’s international expansion strategy and requires a combination of technical knowledge, commercial skills and cultural adaptability.
