Overview
We are seeking a professional to join the Global Enterprise Risk Management team and contribute to the evolution and global deployment of the Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) framework across the Group. Reporting to the Global Risk Management Lead, the role is responsible for overseeing and strengthening Global Enterprise Risk Management activities, ensuring alignment with international best practices and supporting Senior Management and the Board in risk oversight and decision-making processes.
Main Activities & Responsibilities
* Strengthen the Enterprise Risk Management framework at Group level, ensuring its continuous development and effective implementation across businesses and geographies.
* Perform independent risk assessments and conduct risk interviews with First Line of Defense teams, providing effective challenge to risk ownership, mitigation strategies, and alignment with risk appetite.
* Ensure that material emerging and strategic risks are appropriately identified, assessed, monitored, and escalated to Senior Management and the Board.
* Set up and support the ongoing management of the Second Line of Defense for Menarini, in line with international standards (ISO 31000, COSO Framework), performing independent assessments of risk management standards, structures, governance, processes, and controls.
* Prepare and deliver executive-level risk assessment reports, dashboards, and presentations for Senior Executives and the Board.
* Monitor global and industry risk trends, supporting strategic planning and long-term business resilience.
* Partner with business leaders and corporate functions to foster a strong risk culture and embed risk management into strategy and operational decision-making processes.
* Coordinate activities and priorities, ensuring the timely execution of ERM initiatives across the Regions and Divisions of the Group and the effective use of available resources.
Job Requirements
* Advanced degree in Economics, Statistics, Engineering, or another quantitative discipline.
* At least 5 years of experience in Enterprise Risk Management or in similar risk-related managerial roles, preferably within complex, international organizations.
* Proven end-to-end expertise in Enterprise Risk Management, including frameworks, methodologies, processes, and systems.
* Solid experience in analyzing business models, organizational structures, and management processes.
* Strong analytical skills with the ability to synthesize complex data into clear, actionable insights for senior stakeholders.
* High level of autonomy and proactiveness in managing responsibilities and setting priorities.
* Demonstrated ability to influence, challenge, and engage senior stakeholders with credibility and integrity.
* Strong coordination and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure.
* Proactive mindset in identifying issues, escalating key risks, and recommending effective mitigation actions.
* Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to build organizational buy-in and clearly articulate risk insights to Senior Executives and Board-level audiences.
* Fluent Italian and fluent English, both written and spoken.
