Ph3Overview /h3 pThe Business Development Manager is responsible for creating, growing and managing an account base. Accountable to directly identify and initiate development efforts. Develop and execute a field sales business plan that will achieve the corporate revenue goals. This is a field-based role located either in central Italy (Rome area) or in the East of Italy (Trento, Verona, Venice). We are not considering applicants in other locations. /p h3Responsibilities /h3 ul liDevelop new business across all of our core competencies /li liIdentify, initiate and engage with clients that provide sustained and profitable revenue streams for multiple services /li liDevelop and execute a business plan that will achieve sales quota and budget as defined by the company /li liSupport and consult existing customers as well as further develop professional cooperation /li liConduct sales and negotiation meetings /li liPrepare offers and calculations /li liProcess customer correspondence /li liPrepare and assemble accompanying documents (offers, concepts, presentations, etc.) /li liPlan, organize and execute customer visits /li liRecord and ensure data maintenance in the CRM as well as for cross‑departmental topics in the CRM /li liImplement regular review meetings /li /ul h3Qualifications /h3 ul liBachelor’s degree or equivalent /li liCompleted further training as a forwarding specialist /li li5+ years of relevant business‑to‑business sales experience in Logistics, Freight Forwarding or Supply Chain Industry preferred /li liNative level Italian and very good English language skills /li /ul h3Benefits /h3 pIn addition to a competitive salary and benefits package, we offer great programs for our employees.
