The individual is responsible for defining and realizing Digital functions on IPs, Subsystem or IC level based on required specifications of high performance AC/DC and DC/DC converter for high voltage application for both industrial and automotive as well as consumer market segment. /ppOur products are offering an unique opportunity to use your skills (or learn new ones) on the largest cross domain product existing, with digital, analog, power management, low power design and control theory /ppbJob Responsibility: /b /pulliTranslates product specification and system requirements into Design requirements/Specifications /liliDrive and develop activities associated with development of Digital design of switching converters like buck, boost, … as well as resonant one like LLC. /liliIC leader designer responsible for Digital IC design from concept to release to market /liliResponsible for evaluating concepts, defining requirements, design planning, designing circuits, verification, documentation, validation. /liliSupport the Bench validation, debug activities and customer support on the products. /liliCreate technical documents needed for the life cycle of the IP/Products like verification plans, validation plans etc. /liliAbility to work across different products. These include the development of low power/high frequency digital IP using sub-micron CMOS technologies. /li /ulpbKey Challenges: /b /pulliDemonstrated Strong digital design skills. Capable of designing high performance digital circuits to meet specified requirements. /liliExpertise in design of Digital integrated circuits required such as regulators, low offset amplifier and comparators, offset cancellation technique, etc. in sub-micron CMOS technologies /liliDemonstrated expertise in Low Power circuits as well as high frequency digital circuits /li /ulpbCross Functional Aspects: /b /pulliInterface regularly with local and remote designers, product and test engineers, program manager, and the product definer to understand the product, design/debug the IC and the final product as one team. /liliSupport/Mentorship/Coaching of junior digital designer /li /ulpbJob Qualification: /b /pulliMS or higher in Electrical Engineering or equivalent discipline required /lili10+ years of relevant experience in Digital Circuit Design. /liliStrong analytical and debugging skills /liliExperience in all aspects of RTL design flow fromSpecification/Micro-architecture definition to design and verification, Timing Analysis, DFT and Implementation /liliProficient in digital design and hands-on experience with Verilog/System Verilog RTL coding /liliFirm understanding and hands-on experience on Chip Assembly, IP Integration, RTL signoff tools and CDC/RDC/Lint/Synthesis. /liliFamiliarity with serial communication interfaces (at least I2C and SPI) /liliStrong domain knowledge of Clocking, Reset, System modes, Power management /liliSelf-Driven with a can-do attitude /li /ulpbPreferred Qualifications Experience: /b /pulliProficient with Cadence Suite /liliScripting languages (Shell, TCL, PERL, Python) /liliAnalog Behavioural Models (Verilog-A, Verilog-AMS, Wreal, SystemVerilog, EEnet) /liliMixed-Signal Verification methodology and tools (AMS / APS / Flex) /liliIC Top-Level Digital UVM Verification (Universal Verification Methodology) /liliExperience with Multiple Power and Clock domains /liliStrong background in IC design of switching power converter /liliExperience with resonant switching converter is a plus /li /ulpbNXP Introduction: /b /ppNXP Semiconductors N.V.
