About You
As the Engineering & Maintenance Manager in our Romagnano Mill in Romagnano Sesia (NO), you will be responsible to coordinate and support the activities of the Engineering / Plant area. You will ensure optimal management of the "investment plan" and assets, whether they refer to the "site" or to the production areas, developing the 5-year plan and ensuring its implementation. Being responsible for the maintenance warehouse for both Engineering and consumables parts and overseeing the updating of asset inventory.
You will report to the Plant Manager and you will manage a Team of direct reports.
YOUR KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
* Managing, coordinating and controlling the budget related to the maintenance of utilities, buildings, roads and yards
* Being the delegate of the employer for Safety in relation to plants and machinery of your competence.
* Coordinates the activity of the Energy Manager in the management of the cogenerator and the multi-year energy plan. Coordinates the activities of the Technical Office
* Representing the company with external official agencies, being the referent for contracts and the management of emergencies related to the supply of electricity, gas and water.
* Coordinates the activity of any external companies and collaborates with them, within the scope of its competences, ensuring compliance with internal security procedures. He is responsible and interface of the facility management partner.
* Performs the function of "wave owner" ensuring the development of the cost reduction plan
* Holds the role of "Yankee Dryer Safety Mill Representative" in line with the requirements of the Corporate in order to comply with the minimum requirements in the management of the safety of the single-glazed cylinder installed on the tissue machine.
WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU
* Degree in Engineering
* Previous significant experience in a similar role or in Maintenance in a manufacturing environment
* Knowledge of production processes, capitalization regulations, LEAN philosophy, principles and instruments
* Excellent knowledge of English and Italian
