Senior Business Developer Green Power & BESSLocation: Rome, Italy – Permanent contract. The role reports to the Head of Business Development & Sustainability and is based in the Supply & Energy Management division. Green Power PPAs : From onboarding to deal signature, including structuring, client relationship management, negotiations, internal governance, and validation of opportunities in the Italian market.
BESS/Flex Tolling : Hybrid PPA (PV, Wind, BESS) : Develop 24/7 solutions for mature clients and data‐centres.
Originise and implement risk‐management solutions to support the growth of the S&EM; renewable and BESS portfolio in Italy.
Understand pricing methodologies and model development in close collaboration with the power portfolio and pricing teams.
Track legislative and market structural changes that impact the Italian green‐power and flexibility business.
Provide technical market knowledge and commercial support to ensure proper contract implementation and coordination with stakeholders.
More than 10 years of experience in the energy market and a proven record in origination and structured green‐PPA deals.
Solid knowledge of the Italian power system, markets and regulatory context.
Knowledge of pricing models, risk metrics, physical and financial energy products, and contracts (PPA, tolling, etc.) Commercial and negotiation skills.
Fluent in English and Italian.
