Founding Business Strategy & Development Lead
We are Kernel Science SRL: a bootstrapping scientific consulting company with current focus in scientific software, food science, multi-omics and AI/ML. We help companies, NGOs and institutions transform scientific knowledge into concrete solutions.
We are hiring our first commercial figure : a Founding Business Strategy & Development Lead who will build our commercial function from scratch with the founders. This is a strategic and hands-on role : design the motion, win clients, and shape how Kernel Science grows.
The position is fully remote, based in Italy. Gross annual salary will be between €50K and €80K, depending on experience and skills. Part-time arrangement are also available, depending on cases.
Build the commercial engine from scratch: Identify the customer profile, growing opportunities, outreach, CRM, client acquisition, and playbooks..
- Discuss contracts and commercial agreements with professionalism and impact.
We are looking for someone with 5+ years of experience in Business Strategy / Client Management and/or sales, preferably in a scientific/technical industry like, biotech, computing, pharma, medtech, or B2B consulting.
