Ph3JOB SUMMARY /h3 pThe Manager Information Security manages the day-to-day activities of the Identity and Access Management (IAM) and Cyber Security teams. Assigns tasks and projects in accordance with scheduling and organizational needs. Monitors the quality and performance of newly implemented applications as well as providing continued support for ongoing applications. /p h3ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES /h3 pOther duties may be assigned. /p ul liDevelops and delivers IS security standards, best practices, architecture, and systems to ensure information security across the enterprise. /li liResponsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation within areas as assigned. /li liManages the overall operations in accordance with hospital administered policies, departmental standards, and governmental regulations, providing the highest level of customer service. /li liProvides administrative and financial accountability for planning, managing, staffing, coordinating, and controlling functions, and activities, delegating authority as necessary. Develops and aligns goals with the organization’s strategic plans. /li liOversees various personnel actions including, but not limited to, hiring, performance appraisals, disciplinary actions, terminations, and other related activities. /li liUtilizes performance management expertise to facilitate the achievement of department goals. Holds staff accountable for adherence to organizational and departmental policies. /li liPrepares detailed presentation of systems and applications designs, pricing, and analysis for day-to-day operations as well as projects and expansion. /li liOversees vendor relationships. /li liEvaluates existing systems, identify deficiencies, and make performance recommendations. /li liPerforms analysis and capacity planning and assessments for organizational systems and applications to meet corporate objectives. /li liParticipates in ongoing support and maintenance of existing systems and applications. Perform after-hours maintenance as required. /li liCreates and maintains detailed project plans, scope of work, and technical documentation within assigned areas. /li liProvides research, assessment, and implementation of new technologies, hardware, and software to advance the applications and services rendered by the organization. /li liDevelops and recommends strategies from growth, security, and functional enhancements. /li liServes as the first line of escalation for all identified issues within assigned area. /li liDevelops and manages to a set of meaningful metrics that demonstrate the efficiency and effectiveness of the team on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis. /li liResponsible for coordinating aspects of planning, system testing, design, development, implementation, maintenance, and evaluations of assigned systems. /li liManages the support resources and processes for assigned applications to ensure that software/interface issues are addressed on a timely basis and that all enhancements and new release are implemented based upon priority and vendor support windows. /li liProvides on-call coverage as deemed appropriate by departmental leadership. /li liManages Disaster Recovery planning, implementation, and testing. /li /ul h3EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS /h3 ul liMinimum of a bachelor’s degree in Business, Technology, Security or related field. Prefer a master’s degree in Business, Technology, Security or related field. /li liMinimum of 5 years of relevant IT or Healthcare experience required.
