Senior Systems Engineer – Digital Services (IET)
Responsible for the design, development, and execution of digital NPD deck programs and projects within the IET team, collaborating with engineering departments, program and product managers, and Digital Services Sales and Commercial groups.
Responsibilities
* Systems Engineering & Requirements Management: support design and development of digital NPDs, define and prioritize requirements, create and maintain specifications and design review materials, and ensure alignment of system, subsystem, and component interactions.
* Technology Assessment & System Design: assess and categorize new technologies and products, provide technical leadership, lead system‑level design reviews, and contribute to broader program and product line reviews.
* Verification, Validation & Lifecycle Management: conduct system‑level V&V activities, manage lifecycle after deployment, and develop action plans to resolve technical issues.
* Stakeholder & Cross‑Functional Collaboration: establish and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders, collaborate with software, infrastructure, data science, service delivery, and digital product teams, and prepare technical reports for customers.
* Travel: work on customer sites as required, with duration and hours determined by customer needs.
Qualifications
* Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering or equivalent.
* Strong knowledge of core IET products and services and proven experience in OEM Digital Services.
* Ability to develop plans and strategies to achieve goals.
* Positive attitude toward performance and teamwork.
* Excellent communication skills, able to interface with senior leadership confidently.
* Comfortable in Agile environments, with a problem‑solving mindset.
* Fluent in English and Italian (oral and written); holds an EU passport or work permit.
Desired Requirements
* Knowledge of industry specifications, standards, and regulations.
* Experience with systems engineering methodologies and processes (e.g., INCOSE).
Compensation
Initial pay range: EUR43,200 to59,400 per year. Pay governed by the collective bargaining agreement (Contratto Collettivo Industria Metalmeccanica e della installazione di impianti).
