Atlas Copco Italy is looking for a new employee who will become our Sales Area Manager for Northern Italy.
You will be primarily responsible for executing sales plans to achieve revenue and profit growth, implementing company programs and services in your assigned territory.
You will develop a consultative sales approach emphasizing strong account leadership skills and competitive business selling. Building long-term relationships with existing customers by understanding their key drivers, needs, and problems is essential.
You will implement the group’s strategy in this core market to deliver profitable business aligned with the group's objectives.
Knowledge of process filtration markets is a plus, and experience in this area will be advantageous.
Main target markets include Pharma biotech, Food & Beverage, and Micro Electronics.
Main Tasks and Activities:
1. Work closely with current customers in your territory to understand their needs and recommend improvements and innovations to sustain and grow sales.
2. Develop strong relationships with key accounts.
3. Generate and execute sales plans within your existing customer base and prospective clients to meet profit goals.
4. Achieve sales target budgets.
5. Identify new potential customers.
6. Follow up on existing quotations.
7. Conduct marketing surveys on competitors operating in the same area and customer segments.
8. Issue sales proposals to key accounts.
Requirements:
1. Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Chemical, Mechanical, Industrial).
2. Minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar role.
3. Reside in Bologna or surrounding areas.
4. Fluent in English.
5. Good communication skills.
6. Knowledge of process filtration and related technologies.
7. Ability to work well both independently and within a team.
8. Strong technical communication skills, both written and oral.
9. Strong work ethic and multi-tasking ability.
10. Excellent organizational skills.
11. Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
