About the role

The Senior Marketing Manager for Ostomy Care in Italy is a critical leadership role within the organization, reporting directly to the Commercial Director. This position is based in Rome and falls under the Ostomy Care business unit. The primary purpose of this role is to develop and execute strategic marketing plans that drive growth and enhance market presence in the ostomy care sector. The scope of the role includes overseeing market analysis, product positioning, promotional activities, and stakeholder engagement.

The impact of the Senior Marketing Manager is significant, as they will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Market Access, Patient Support Team, Customer Service, Logistic, Sales Force Effectiveness, Global and European Marketing, to align marketing strategies with organizational goals and ensure excellence execution. Measures of success for this position include achieving market share targets, driving revenue growth, and enhancing brand recognition within the industry.

Key duties and responsibilities

1. Develop and execute comprehensive strategic marketing plans leveraging a multichannel approach (traditional and digital) to drive growth and market presence

2. Conduct market analysis to identify opportunities and threats.

3. Oversee end-to-end execution of marketing campaigns across multiple channels, including digital, social media, email, and events

4. Engage with key stakeholders, including healthcare professionals, patients, patients’ associations to enhance brand recognition and credibility

5. Manage and allocate the marketing budget effectively to maximize ROI

6. Collaborate with sales, market access and patient support team to ensure cohesive messaging and branding

7. Collaborate with Clinical Trainer to develop outstanding training initiatives for Sales Team, Patients and HCPs

8. Ensure seamless execution of marketing plans through effective teamwork and communication with Global and European Marketing Team

9. Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of marketing strategies in achieving market share targets and revenue growth

10. Lead and mentor the marketing team, fostering professional growth and best practices

Skills & Experience:

11. 7+ years of experience in marketing, with at least 2 years in a leadership role

12. Expertise in digital marketing tools and techniques

13. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills

14. Proficiency in project management

15. Strong analytical skills to interpret data and make data-driven decisions

16. Demonstrated ability to lead and manage diverse teams effectively

17. Experience in pharmaceutical, medical device or mass market industry is a must

Qualifications/Education:

18. Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business Administration, Management Engineering or a related field.
