As Spare Parts Sales Engineer, you will lead and drive booking growth for our Flow Controls parts and aftermarket sales strategy across Italy. This role involves setting sales and commercial strategies, optimizing customer relationships, enhancing sales channel value propositions, and providing market intelligence to gain a competitive edge. You will work closely with various collaborators to implement parts initiatives and ensure alignment with the overall Italy sales strategy to meet and exceed annual targets. In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
* Accountable for the Italian Parts Booking target.
* Develop and implement effective sales strategies within the country’s sales channels to expand our customer base and exceed sales targets for spare parts.
* Utilize digital tools (IBT, IRR, CRM, FF2/Presto, Power BI, VISTO, and others) to proactively identify customer opportunities for parts and develop executable plans to create demand.
* Use data-driven insights to support central initiatives within the European market for key applications, components, and brands (e.g., Environmental seal packing, severe service, cartridge, Yarway).
* Drive the customer digital experience with our digital tools (e.g., online digital platform, My Asset, IBT platforms) and ensure successful implementation.
* Implement corrective actions from win/loss analysis to improve hit rates and market penetration, focusing on critical accounts. Follow up directly with customers, especially for large and key quotations.
* Collaborate with key stakeholders to convert market and sales information into actionable insights and drive new initiatives.
* Participate in defining parts account plans for assigned target accounts, working with local sales teams and channels.
* Manage key accounts in collaboration with local sales teams. Build and maintain relationships with industry leaders and potential clients.
* Perform regular customer visits to promote sales within key accounts, support sales channels, and advocate the FCV parts value proposition to identify growth opportunities.
* Ensure early visibility and deep engagement in STOs to extend customer parts opportunities.
* Develop comprehensive market intelligence by understanding market dynamics, customer needs, and competitor activities related to parts opportunities and behaviors.
* Deliver both commercial and technical training internally and externally as needed.
* Provide technical support and tailored solutions to meet customer needs. Prepare and present proposals and quotations to close sales.
* Ensure timely and accurate order processing and follow-up to guarantee customer satisfaction.
* Collaborate with marketing to develop promotional materials and sales campaigns to boost sales.

For This Role, You Will Need:
* 5+ years of field sales and commercial experience with proven sales capabilities and results.
* Willingness and ability to travel over 50% across Italy and visit customers in the field.
* Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus.
* A university degree or equivalent experience in mechanical engineering and business management is advantageous.
