Overview
Embedded Software Developer at TXT GROUP. The role involves participation in the full project lifecycle: requirements analysis, development, testing, and production deployment of embedded solutions. The environment is dynamic, collaborative, and focused on innovation in embedded systems.
Responsibilities
* Analyze technical and functional requirements
* Design and develop firmware for microcontroller-based systems
* Manage testing and debugging of code
* Collaborate on technical documentation of projects
* Support the team in the continuous evolution of embedded solutions
Qualifications
* L-shaped Laurea triennale o magistrale in Ingegneria Elettronica, Informatica, dell’Automazione, delle Telecomunicazioni o discipline affini
Technical Skills Required
* Fundamentals of Embedded Programming: basic C/C++ programming for microcontroller systems
* Experience with development boards (e.g., STM32, Microchip, AVR)
* Familiarity with registers, peripherals, and driver concepts
* Interfaces of Communication: theoretical and/or practical knowledge of UART, SPI, I2C
* Ability to read and understand datasheets for peripheral integration
* Real-Time Operating Systems (RTOS): basic knowledge of real-time scheduling, task/thread management, and synchronization (semaphores, mutexes)
* Experience with FreeRTOS or other RTOS (also academically – preferred)
* Development Tools: experience with IDEs such as STM32CubeIDE, Keil, MPLAB X
* Basic understanding of debugging tools (step-by-step, breakpoints, printf debugging)
* Version Control: basic knowledge of Git for code versioning and team collaboration

* Passion for electronics and embedded development
* Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
* Team-oriented and able to document technical work
* Willingness to continuously learn and use RTOS and bare-metal technologies
