POSITION SUMMARY
The Marketing Supervisor supports the Marketing Manager in the planning, coordination, and execution of marketing initiatives, with a specific focus on the F&B;, for The Excelsior, a Luxury Collection Hotel, Florence and The St. Regis Florence. The role supervises day-to-day marketing activities, ensuring alignment with brand standards and hotel commercial objectives.
A key focus of the position is the development and promotion of Food & Beverage marketing initiatives, working closely with the F&B; teams to enhance the positioning and visibility of the hotels’ restaurants, bars, and culinary experiences.
With a proactive and collaborative mindset, the Marketing Supervisor contributes to strengthening brand awareness, enhancing guest engagement, and supporting revenue growth across all marketing channels, acting as an ambassador of the brands of Luxury Collection and St. Regis Hotels & Resorts within Marriott International.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
Education and Experience
- Degree or certification in Marketing, Business, Hospitality Management preferred
- Minimum 3-4 years of marketing experience, preferably in hospitality, luxury, or F&B; environments
Skills
- Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to independently manage multiple initiatives and priorities
- Strategic and analytical mindset, capable of translating business goals into effective marketing actions
- Excellent communication, storytelling, and content writing skills
- Proactive, organized and resourceful approach, with the ability to identify opportunities and propose innovative marketing initiatives, with a focus on F&B;
- Awareness of F&B; and luxury hospitality trends
- Strong stakeholder management and collaboration abilities, particularly with operational teams
- High attention to detail and brand sensitivity
Technical Skills
- Working knowledge of Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, Canva
- Familiarity with Meta platforms and social media management
Languages
- Fluent in Italian and English, written and spoken
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Support the Marketing Manager in the planning and execution of marketing campaigns and initiatives.
- Lead the planning and implementation of Food & Beverage marketing initiatives, collaborating closely with F&B; leadership to enhance outlet visibility, guest engagement, and revenue.
- Identify and develop creative marketing opportunities, partnerships, and activations to strengthen the hotels’ positioning within the local luxury and culinary landscape.
- Monitor and maintain the accuracy of digital platforms (website, social media, and third-party channels), managing and creating content for all platforms related to the hotels and the F&B; outlets (restaurants, bars, cafes).
- Coordinate and manage events and activations together with the Marketing Manager, key stakeholders (operations, PR teams, digital teams), related to hotel and F&B; venues to increase brand awareness and drive F&B; revenues – such as Press trips, Press visits, brand events, F&B; activations and events.
- Track and analyze campaign performance and marketing initiatives, preparing reports and presentations for hotel and F&B;, and identifying opportunities for optimization.
- Manage content creation, coordinating photo and video shootings and ensuring consistent use across digital and offline channels.
- Ensure all communications and materials comply with brand standards and visual guidelines.
- Conduct market research and trend monitoring, particularly within the F&B; sector.
- Foster strong collaboration with internal departments, especially the Food & Beverage team.
