This is an absolute omni-channel business development role. Rather than managing legacy accounts, you will be the spearhead for pioneering new frontiers. You will be fully empowered to penetrate utility developers, secure C&I installers, and onboard regional distribution wholesalers from scratch.

Responsibilities
- Aggressive New Client Acquisition: Act as a pure hunter to identify, pitch, and close new business opportunities across all segments (Utility, C&I, and Residential/Distributed Generation).
- Omni-Channel Network Building: Map out and break into multiple sales channels simultaneously, establishing direct relationships with IPPs, regional Tier-1⁄2 EPCs, C&I project developers, and top-tier solar wholesalers/distributors.
- Local Market Penetration: Drive localized go-to-market strategies tailored specifically to the regional dynamics, subsidy landscapes, and commercial behaviors of your designated market.
- Consultative Technical Selling: Present the commercial and engineering value propositions of our steel and aluminum tracking/fixing systems; collaborate with our global engineering team to align proposals with strict local codes (e.g., Eurocodes, TÜV certifications).
- Deal Execution & Tender Management: Lead commercial negotiations from initial cold-outreach through to contract closure, including pricing calculations, framework agreements, and high-value RFP/RFI submissions.
- Brand Ambassadorship: Represent the company at major European solar exhibitions (Solar&Storage Live Italia/SolarPLUS Europe) to proactively source fresh leads and build a robust commercial pipeline.
Requirements
- Industry Domain Expertise: Minimum 3+ years of successful B2B sales experience within the renewable energy ecosystem, with a proven focus on Solar PV mounting structures, tracking systems, inverters, or modules.
- Preferred Advantage: Proven top-performing sales track record (e.g., Sales Champion, President’s Club member) and an existing, multi-channel network spanning European solar distributors, EPCs, and utility developers are highly preferred.
- Proven “Hunter” Track Record: Demonstrable success in building a sales pipeline from zero, breaking into competitive accounts, and closing multi-million-euro deals in Europe.
- Versatile Channel Competency: Deep understanding of how both long-cycle utility-scale project sales and fast-moving distributed channel distribution operations work.
- Technical & Commercial Acumen: Ability to understand basic structural engineering drawings, wind/snow load parameters, and project financing dynamics.
- Language & Communication: Complete business fluency in English, combined with native or full professional proficiency in the language of your target market.
- Drive & Mobility: High self-motivation to work autonomously in a remote setting, with the willingness to travel frequently across Europe for client meetings and site assessments.
