Account Manager (12 months contract), Pick Up and Return Points (PARP) – Amazon Italia Transport Srl.
At Amazon, we are building a world-class delivery experience. We are looking for a dynamic, organized self-starter to join Amazon PARP (Pick up and Return points) as Key Account Manager in Italy. Amazon PARP is an alternative delivery solution offering convenient pickup and return options. As the Key Account Manager, you will manage and expand our network with a proven track record in C-level stakeholder management, complex contract negotiations, and end-to-end network ownership.
You will work cross-functionally to drive the client relationship lifecycle, oversee network development and roll-out, optimize performance, conduct reviews, create action plans, and manage contract renewals. You will be the primary point of contact for external partners and internal stakeholders, collaborating with teams such as Tech Ops, Finance, Marketing, Business Planning, Legal, and Product Management to ensure the best possible customer experience.
This role offers the opportunity to shape the future of Amazon’s alternative delivery solutions and impact customer convenience and satisfaction across Italy.
Key responsibilities
* Own and drive executive-level relationships with C-level stakeholders across partner organizations, serving as the primary point of contact for strategic decision-making and partnership growth
* Lead complex contract negotiations, including commercial terms, service level agreements, and partnership conditions with high-value partners
* Market analysis and forecasting to uncover insights for strategic decision making
* Maintain complete ownership and oversight of PARP network in Italy, including performance optimization, expansion strategy, and quality control
* Drive development and roll-out, maintain and optimize the current network, conduct performance reviews, create action plans, and manage contract renewals
* Work cross-functionally with internal teams (Tech Ops/Installation, Accounting, Marketing, Business Planning, Legal, Product Management) to ensure seamless network operations
* Lead business expansion, route-to-market strategies, and new product/service launches to drive revenue growth, cost savings, and market penetration
* Lead offline Marketing and Advertising campaigns with location partners to boost Amazon Locker awareness and utilization
* Drive best-in-class customer experience, service, and convenience across all Pickup locations
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
* Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Engineering, or related field
* Fluency in Italian and English (written and verbal)
* Experience in managing strategic customers, owning P&L, conducting high-level negotiations, and growing strategic partnerships
* Experience in FMCG, retail, logistics, or e-commerce
* Proven ability to manage high-level negotiations and strategic relationships
* Strong financial acumen, analytical skills, and commercial awareness
* Proven ability to plan strategically with customers and translate strategy into implementation
* Ability to develop and execute strategic plans, anticipate market trends, and adapt to changing business needs
* Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
* Master’s degree
* Experience with CRM systems (Salesforce preferred)
