PNidec Conversion is hiring Pre Sales ( Proposal) for Cinisello Balsamo site. /ppThe resource will be assigned within the technical-commercial department related to Power Quality / Power electronics business unit. /ppThe candidate will be responsible for managing the offer preparation, including technical sizing and cost evaluation/analysis. /ppStrong commitment in transversal activities, such as interaction with RD, Electrical Engineering and Sales teams is mandatory. /ppThe candidate shall contact suppliers for quotations, technical alignment and offer optimization in order to improve the quotation package. /ppPRINCIPLE JOB RESPONSIBILITIES and ACTIVITIES /ppThe candidate will: /pulliReceive Customer’s RFQ from the sales department /liliInterpret Customer’s request and identify Customer’s needs. /li /ulpAnalyze of input documentation (Customer specifications and technical bid) /pulliIdentify the technical solution best fitting the functional and performance requirements (also using various simulation tools for steady state and transient network study) with the lower cost. /liliEstimate the costs of internal and external material, equipment, works and services, constituting the technical solution /liliKeep contacts with suppliers in coordination with supply chain team /liliEstimate the workload required by the project in terms of Application Engineering, RD and Project Management /liliPrepare detailed documentation to support a bid for a project /li /ulpMake remarks and comments to customer project specification relevant to the proposed solution /pulliWork closely with sales and technical teams to provide a complete and competitive technical solution /liliParticipate in Customer meetings for such as solution presentation, technical clarification, etc. /li /ulpREQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE /ppEducation and Qualifications /pulliUniversity Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent technical experience /liliMS Office, Word, Excel and PowerPoint. /liliSAP, AutoCad, and any Network Analyzing Tool (Neplan) are preferential title /li /ulpExperience Knowledge /pulliTechnical background in Medium voltage Power Conversion (preferably in Power Quality field) /liliKnowledge in Single line Diagram: interpretation, creation, modification, etc... /liliKnowledge in MV equipment: Circuit breakers, Air core reactors, Transformers, Switchgears, Disconnector switches, etc... /liliExperience in power quality solutions for industrial (mining,metals,etc..), renewable and utilities is preferred: Statcom and SVC /liliKnowledge in grid code standards is preferred /liliMinimum 2 years in similar positions /li /ulpABOUT US /ppNidec Conversion is a $600M Business Unit of Nidec Corporation, a $18 Billion+ global company, headquartered in Milan (Italy) and footprint in more than 10 countries.
