Zuma is a contemporary Japanese restaurant collection, inspired by the dynamic Izakaya dining style.
Main Duties
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Collaborate with the front-of-house team to deliver seamless and efficient wine and sake service daily
- Use your in-depth knowledge of wine, sake, and food pairings to enhance guest experiences and drive sales
- Manage wine and sake stock levels and oversee ordering procedures with accuracy and care
- Monitor and maintain wine and sake service equipment, addressing any needs with management
- Build relationships with regular guests and high-value customers, creating lasting connections
- Handle guest feedback professionally, keeping senior management informed of key updates
What We Look For
Our ideal candidate embodies our values and brings:
- Proven experience as a sommelier in a luxury high-volume restaurant
- WSET level 2 or equivalent
- A natural team player who is at home working in sync with a large team
- Naturally friendly, customer-oriented, and skilled at creating memorable dining experiences
