As a Product Specialist at nVent, you will manage and optimize the HOFFMAN climate control product portfolio globally. You’ll collaborate cross-functionally to drive product improvements, support development, and own portfolio performance. Your role includes providing technical support to customers and sales teams, maintaining data integrity, and training stakeholders. You’ll handle product launches, market positioning, and competitive intelligence to boost revenue and customer satisfaction. * Manage product lifecycle from ideation to obsolescence and drive portfolio performance
* Coordinate cross-functional activities to improve revenue, margins, cost, quality, and delivery
* Lead product launch processes, data validation, and system proliferation
* Support marketing, pricing, and sales enablement for product definitions and promotions
* Provide ongoing product support to supply, quality, and production
* Serve as subject matter authority for assigned product lines for internal and external audiences
* Maintain accurate product data and ensure proper product usage
* Provide market research and competitive intelligence, and communicate findings to drive action during product development
Responsabilità
* Bachelor in Mechanical, Thermal Engineering or Management Engineering (preferred)
* 2+ years in Product Marketing or Product Management
* Travel up to 15% domestically/internationally
* Experience with industrial sales channels (distribution and manufacturer reps)
* Proficient with Microsoft applications, ERP systems, and other technical software
* Experience in industrial manufacturing; exposure to automation/automotive markets preferred
* Understanding of basic product management processes
* Validated mechanical proficiency
* Excellent communication and presentation skills with strong active listening
* Ability to analyze data and financial models and draw conclusions
* Strong organizational skills to manage multiple priorities
