The Water Treatment Sales Engineer or Account Manager is responsible for the effective and profitable sales and business management of assigned territory and customer accounts.
Main Responsibilities :
* Primarily focused on managing the territory with a high growth attitude toward revenues and margins.
* Works with current customers to provide value and meet service needs.
* Works under planning and forecasting rhythms to track business behavior in the territory.
* Participates in plant visits to observe instruments, obtain information, analyze/interpret results, and report any corrective actions to customers.
* Utilizes both economic and technical sales approaches and manages complex matrix organizations within customer companies.
* Coordinates relationships with Commercial Operations, Technical Marketing, Product Management, and other internal functions.
* Documents observations during plant visits, updates, and contributes to final reports for internal audiences.
* Manages time, budget, and expense parameters effectively.
* Ensures full compliance with EHS policies and Italian laws.
* Reports EHS issues promptly.
Qualifications :
* Bachelor's Degree in Chemical, Mechanical, Environmental Engineering, Chemistry, Industrial Chemistry, Biology, or related scientific fields.
* Short job experience in water treatment or industrial plants (e.g., steel mill, power plant, chemical plant).
* Valid Driver's License.
* Willingness to reside in Campania, Italy, and travel within the territory.
* IT proficiency.
* Fluent in English and Italian; French is a plus.

* At least six months of relevant work experience (e.g., internships, training, initial professional experience).
* Passion for selling and challenges.
* Strong sales and interpersonal skills or aptitude.
* Proven sales record or demonstrated attitude to succeed in a technical, relationship-driven business.
* Computer skills.

* Willingness to work independently after training and demonstrate entrepreneurial spirit.
* Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
* Team player capable of handling projects.
