PpSB USA Concessions is a leader in the development, investment, construction, operation and financing of large scale infrastructure P3 projects globally. We’re looking for a highly motivated, experienced junior/mid-level attorney or commercial manager to join the Concessions team at SB USA. In this role the candidate will have the chance to contribute to meaningful involvement in innovative infrastructure projects that benefit communities across the United States. /p h3Responsibilities /h3 ul liManaging legal/commercial aspects of P3 projects or project finance-based construction projects with both public and private sector clients /li liManage internal corporate/commercial agreements with partners and consultants (experience with corporate transactions and teaming agreements a plus) /li liDraft and review procurement, finance and construction packages, including those using alternative delivery methods such as public‑private partnerships (P3), pre‑development agreements (PDAs), traditional and progressive design‑build, and other forms of alternative delivery contracting /li liManage internal and external legal counsel /li liFacilitating internal project and investment proposals, coordinating investment approvals with risk and investment committees /li liPreparing board materials and internal presentations for legal and commercial activities /li /ul h3Technical / Industry Knowledge /h3 ul liFive (5) or more years of substantial and relevant transactional experience in infrastructure, transportation, public procurement, and public and/or private finance matters /li liPreferred (not required): a university degree (LLB; JD) in law and member of a state bar association or admitted to practice law in a U.S. jurisdiction (New York, Pennsylvania, Washington DC, Maryland or Virginia preferred) /li liExperience working in private practice and/or on commercial transactions and/or as in‑house legal counsel or commercial director at an energy/infrastructure development or construction company /li liExperience with project procurements for surface transportation (e.g., roads, transit and rail, bridges and tunnels, autonomous vehicles), airports, water, government facilities, transit‑oriented and mixed‑use development, universities, and renewable projects /li liExperience drafting/negotiating shareholder agreements, investment agreements, LLC agreements etc. /li liDemonstrating exceptional drafting, writing, analytical, and advocacy skills and the ability to successfully interact with clients and colleagues /li liFamiliarity with all customary industry agreements (e.g., project agreements, construction agreements and credit support documentation) /li liUnderstanding of the laws, regulations and rules applicable to the U.S. P3 market and construction market /li liExperience supporting and administering corporate documentation and risk policies /li /ul pThis is a full‑time position to be located in Washington DC/ NOVA.
