Senior business development manager - industrial technologies

About the Role

We are seeking a Technical Sales Engineer to join our team. This individual will play a key role in developing new business opportunities, maintaining up-to-date sales engagement programs, and providing customer information through presentations.

Responsibilities:

* Stay current with product launches or transitions to maintain up-to-date sales engagement programs.
* Develop new business opportunities with major Light Commercial Refrigerator and Freezer Agents, OBMs, and OEMs.
* Work with all facets of the customer's organization to provide customer information through presentations.
* Document market and customer findings and communicate the information back to the organization.
* SUPPORTING MARKETING EFFORTS TO EVALUATE MARKET SEGMENT TRENDS, MONITOR GOVERNMENT REGULATORY ACTIVITIES, AND SOLICIT CUSTOMER FEEDBACK.
* Supporting team members and peers to achieve KPIs.
* Support all product and business promotional activities and participate in regional and international trade shows.

Qualifications:

* Bachelor's degree in business, engineering or related field.
* 5-10 years of experience in Sales and Marketing OR R&D dept.
* Familiar with Light Commercial reciprocating compressor products.
* Knowledge and understanding of compressor applications and regulations for Light Commercial markets.
* Excellent verbal, written, presentation and communication skills (English and one of the European languages).
* Highly motivated, self-sufficient, and capable of managing multiple projects.
* Frequent domestic travel with occasional international travel and weekend travel.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Suite applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams).
* Prior work experience with major Light Commercial Agents, OBMs, and OEMs is beneficial.
* Knowledge of the Chinese language will be beneficial, but not required.
