Sales Director Europe Job Summary
Key Responsibilities and Activities:
* Negotiate with customers in Italy, collaborating closely with company management.
* Act as Key Account Manager for assigned international clients.
* Deliver offers/quotes to existing and prospective customers.
* Report to the Sales Director Europe.
Main Tasks:
* Define sales strategy for company products.
* Gather information for sale contract preparation.
* Communicate with technical team to propose suitable solutions.
* Search for new business opportunities, focusing on replacing Polyamide compounds.
* Negotiate best terms of sale with company management.
* Manage customer rates.
* Issue material sample and test requests.
* Built relationships with customers to develop long-term connections.
* Control proper application of contracts and planned sales volumes.
* Identify and manage customer risks, financial risks, delivery disruptions, and changes in customer structure.
* Interface between customers and management, sales, R&D, QHSE, and finance teams.
* Assist technical and sales teams with tests, complaints, or disputes.
* Report on individual sales activities, customer situation, and progress of samples during exchanges and sales meetings.
Required Skills and Qualifications
* Knowledge of sales and negotiation techniques.
* Detailed knowledge of company technical possibilities and products' advantages.
* Good knowledge of plastics industry and processing, especially injection moulding.
* Analytical mindset with ability to adapt to changing market conditions.
* Strong decision-making skills to identify and mitigate potential problems.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective internal and external communication at different levels and departments.
* Strong time management and priority setting skills with a self-propelled attitude.
* Ability to effectively use MS Office and ERP system.
* Fluency in both Italian and English.
