At BDR Thermea, we focus on four potential sustainable heating technologies: heat pumps, hybrids, hydrogen boilers and heat networks. These are made to run on a variety of renewable energy sources and are suitable for different types of buildings.

Our smart products are usually part of a larger system or combination of heat generators. They’re designed to operate easily with each other, such as a boiler in a hybrid set-up with a heat pump.

We work closely with gas grid providers, governments and other stakeholders to tackle the complexities of the energy transition. Renewable energy sources such as solar and wind are not always available, creating challenges such as balancing the grid and energy buffering. We develop our products with this in mind.


The Commercial Solutions Training Specialist is responsible for the design, development and implementation of technical training programs dedicated to the commercial segment, i.e. for all HVAC high-power products.

The role aims to strengthen the skills of local training teams, transforming complex technical content into clear, modular and easily replicable training courses.

This figure acts as a real Trainer of Trainers, working in close collaboration with the R&D, Product Portfolio Management, System Engineering, Solution Specialists teams and the Head of Knowledge Transfer.


Mission

* To raise the quality of technical training within the global network.
* Create structured training courses by integrating design theory, field experience and product innovations.
* Supporting branches (OPCOs) in developing advanced technical and methodological skills.


Key responsibilities

The figure plays a key role as an expert trainer, totally responsible for the ability to simplify complex technical topics and transform them into an effective modular approach that can be used by local trainers. She is also involved in creating training materials from scratch, ensuring that they are comprehensive, accurate, and consistent with company standards. This activity is based on technical sources such as manuals, R&D information, system diagrams and specialist documentation.

The role also includes activities to assess the quality of the training provided by OPCOs: the professional analyzes the impact of delivery, the understanding of the contents and supports any integrations to fill technical or methodological gaps.

It also acts as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for everything related to product installation specifications and the use of enabled controls, providing advanced technical guidance to ensure consistency and correctness of training content.

Although he is not directly responsible for it, he collaborates continuously with R&D, Portfolio Management and local teams to stay up to date on developments, product innovations and technical roadmaps, integrating this information into training materials. In addition, he supports the Head of Knowledge Transfer in strategic activities related to the definition of global training approaches and the correct implementation of training plans.


Requirements

Training

* Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience in Energy Engineering or related technical disciplines.
* Training or certifications in teaching methodologies are a plus.

Experience

* 3–5 years in technical training, product training, system engineering, or technical roles in HVAC, Building Technologies, or related industries.
* Experience in the creation of structured training courses and in the management of complex technical content.

Technical skills

* Solid knowledge of HVAC systems, integration between components and control logics.
* Ability to understand and rework complex technical documentation.
* Expertise in the use of digital learning tools, LMS and Office suites.

Soft skills

* Excellent communication and public speaking skills.
* Ability to translate complex content into clear and didactically effective materials.
* Collaborative spirit and ability to work in cross-functional teams.
* Analytical aptitude, technical precision and orientation towards continuous improvement.
* Ability to work independently and with a sense of responsibility in training planning.

Mobility

* Availability for national and international trips.
