Deeply focused on sustainability and meticulous product research, Fàula Restaurant was awarded the "Two forks Gambero Rosso" and located inside the 5* sustainable Resort Casa di Langa.
The Head Chef provides culinary leadership for the restaurant, shaping its gastronomic vision through seasonality, ingredient integrity and modern technique. The role combines creativity, consistency and operational excellence, with the objective of delivering an elevated dining experience that reflects the values of Casa di Langa while maintaining the highest standards of quality and sustainability of Casa di Langa.
Casa di Langa is a 5* sustainable hotel with 39 rooms and suites, restaurant, and spa, affiliated with Preferred Hotels and Resorts in the L.V.X. category and located in the beautiful hills of Alta Langa, Piemonte (CN). Since its official opening on June 11th, 2021, Casa di Langa has already achieved remarkable milestones such as winning the 2023 Preferred Awards of Excellence and joining the Virtuoso Exclusives program.
What You Will Do
Design, develop and update menus for all F&B outlets, in line with the company's strategic vision
Supervise and coordinate food preparation and production
Manage all F&B food areas, including breakfasts, bar, room service, tavern and gourmet restaurant
Select, train and lead the kitchen staff, building a motivated, skilled and quality-oriented brigade
Organize work schedules, internal mobility and shift coverage across departments
Define a clear vision for the kitchen and set specific goals for the team
Ensure compliance with health, safety, cleanliness and maintenance standards
Guarantee a high level of customer satisfaction, in close coordination with the Restaurant Manager
Manage procurement, ensuring high-quality raw materials with constant attention to costs
Optimize warehouse and inventory management to reduce waste and ensure freshness
Ensure correct storage and handling of products in full compliance with HACCP regulations
Who We Are Looking For
Proven experience in 5-star hotels or gourmet restaurants
Excellent knowledge of English
Strong culinary expertise with a high level of creativity
Proven ability to manage multiple teams simultaneously
Advanced knowledge and training in HACCP procedures
Participative leadership style with strong communication, motivation and training skills
Ability to work under pressure and manage stress effectively
Excellent multitasking skills and operational speed
Strong financial awareness, with experience in budget and cost control
Nice to have
Valid Italian driver's licence
