We are seeking a dynamic Global Product Manager to lead the growth and evolution of our software offering—a critical element of our strategic roadmap toward smart manufacturing and Industry 4.0.
In this strategic role, you will own the full lifecycle of our software products, from vision and development to launch and customer success. You'll collaborate globally to shape solutions that deliver real customer value, drive revenue and margin growth, and support Atlas Copco’s long-term market leadership.
You will report directly to the Global Marketing Manager and work as part of the Product Marketing team within the Atlas Copco BLM Product Company.
Key Responsibilities
Product Management
1. Develop and maintain a strategic vision for the software portfolio, guiding the product roadmap and long-term development
2. Own and manage the software product portfolio with a focus on sustainable, profitable growth
3. Define product features and development priorities in collaboration with Customer Centers and R&D
4. Work closely with engineering, technical support, and quality teams to ensure customer satisfaction
5. Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitor activity to inform product strategy and innovation
6. Lead successful product launches, coordinating cross-functional teams across the organization
Business Development
7. Identify and map the full growth potential of the software portfolio; develop and execute strategies to unlock new market opportunities
8. Establish and articulate a clear value structure, collaborating across teams to position software effectively alongside hardware offerings
9. Act as a key interface with Customer Centers and other global marketing teams to align commercial strategies
10. Build and activate a strong global network of product promoters and champions to support portfolio expansion
Digital Marketing & Competence Development
11. Develop and execute global go-to-market plans, with a strong focus on digital campaigns, online presence, and content marketing
12. Create and distribute marketing materials, application references, and competitor analyses
13. Conduct training sessions, seminars, and workshops to enhance internal and external competence in product positioning and usage
14. Support Customer Centers and partners through targeted communications and enablement tools
Note: This position involves extensive international travel.
To succeed, you will need Experience & Competencies
15. Minimum 3 years of experience in product marketing, product management, or business development
16. Demonstrated success in product launches and building value-driven marketing propositions
17. Strong understanding of customer business challenges and the ability to translate them into software solutions
18. Experience with digital marketing and campaign content creation
19. Excellent relationship-building, communication, and presentation skills
20. Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus
21. Technical expertise in software, especially in: Cybersecurity, Network communication, OPC-UA protocols, SaaS models, License management
22. Familiarity with tightening assembly processes, Quality Assurance, or Manual Tightening—especially in the automotive industry—is a strong advantage
Education
23. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Business, Marketing, or a related field
24. Fluency in English is essential; other languages are considered an asset
