Supports the daily operations and development of our luxury full-service Spa, ensuring an exceptional guest and employee experience in alignment with Four Seasons standards. This role assists in managing the team, overseeing service areas, maintaining high standards of cleanliness and compliance, and driving the financial success and innovation of the Spa.
What you will do:
1. Support the Director of Spa in leadership and direction for Spa, Fitness, and Salon facilities.
2. Assist in recruiting, interviewing, and selecting certified therapists, nail technicians, estheticians, spa receptionists, hair stylists, and attendants, with attention to credentials and training.
3. Schedule staff and manage payroll records within budget guidelines.
4. Monitor inventory, purchasing, and retail operations, including quarterly inventory and purchase order creation.
5. Collaborate on establishing treatment protocols, conducting staff training, and ensuring compliance with Four Seasons standards using high-quality spa products.
6. Assist in managing spa operations with skills in budgeting, forecasting, yield management, and menu and retail management.
7. Market the Spa and Fitness facilities to enhance reputation and recognition through media and awards.
8. Train staff in sales techniques to increase treatment and retail revenues.
9. Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and licensing regulations in Florida.
10. Respond appropriately to emergencies and safety situations.
11. Handle serious guest interactions professionally and capably.
What you bring:
* Relevant degree or equivalent in Hotel/Hospitality Management, Spa Management, or Exercise Physiology.
* Minimum of three years of Spa management experience.
* Experience in luxury hospitality/spa required.
* Proven leadership, coaching, and motivation skills.
* Extensive knowledge of spa operations, treatments, retail, and trends.
* Strong organizational and time management skills.
* Familiarity with spa booking systems (preferably Book4Time), Opera, Birchstreet, and Microsoft Office.
* Ability to work collaboratively and deliver excellent guest service.
* Physical ability to lift up to 25 lbs.
* Flexibility to work varied days and hours, including holidays.
* Excellent service attitude and guest-focused approach.
