While having autonomy for developing a robust pipeline and closing new business, the successful candidate will be supported by a close-knit team; a highly developed prospect list and a proven approach to winning new business. Location: Rome with wider responsibility for managing the generation of new business in Center-Southern Italy. Actively drive sales activity and processes related to winning new business. Supported by the wider sales team, contribute to defining and executing strategies to develop and grow a network of relationships among prospects and decision makers. Initiate first contact and build relationships with prospects to create and convert sales opportunities. Develop a new business pipeline. Collaborate with colleagues across WTW (northern Italy) to move businesses through the sales process, identifying needs and supporting added value at all stages. Ensure all contact and development details with prospects are accurately entered and updated in WTW CRM systems. Qualifications The Requirements Ability to successfully navigate a major and mid-market account sales process. Confidence to develop comprehensive knowledge of WTW products and services and compare them with competitors. Ability to operate at various levels within the sales process, from initial meetings to supporting throughout the sales cycle. Strong interpersonal and communication skills to build relationships with prospects. Proven prospect/client focus skills. Ability to analyze data and situations to recommend optimal solutions that bring value to prospects. Experience working with and adhering to processes and systems supporting new business activities.
