BCIC Swiss GmBH | Best Connect International Company is looking for a full-time on-site IT Support Specialist in Italy.
Responsibilities
* Provide first/second level contact and problem resolution for customer issues.
* Work with third-party vendors to remediate complex AV issues as needed.
* Provide timely communication on issue status and resolution.
* Maintain ticket updates for all reported incidents.
* Install, upgrade, support, and troubleshoot Windows XP, 7, 8.1, 10, and Microsoft Office 2010. Cisco Jabber is an authorized desktop application.
* Have basic knowledge of Mac OS to support Apple PC users.
* Install, upgrade, support, and troubleshoot printers and hardware.
* Perform preventative maintenance on computers, laptops, and printers.
* Perform repairs on desktops, laptops, printers, and peripherals.
* Use diagnostic tools to troubleshoot network and hardware/software issues.
* Have broad IT experience with understanding of networks, servers, AV, smart devices, and telecoms.
* This position requires flexibility and teamwork in a project-based environment. Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
* Must hold a valid work permit.
* Extensive knowledge of IT and computers.
* Several years of related experience preferred.
* Italian language at minimum B2 level.
