The Hoxton is getting ready to open its doors in Florence, the capital of Italy’s Tuscany region, renowned for Renaissance art, architecture, and monuments. This vibrant city is also the birthplace of gelato, making it an exciting second home for us.
The Florence location will feature 161 rooms, a large ground-floor restaurant, bar, lobby, rooftop, courtyard, and a basement meeting and events space.

Job Description
What you’ll do…
1. Support the Restaurant General Manager in overseeing this exciting concept.
2. Prioritize guest and team experience, leading by example, motivating, and empowering your team to deliver top-notch experiences.
3. Collaborate with the Restaurant General Manager to create initiatives and incentives, understanding the guest booking and profiling system to boost revenue.
4. Coordinate with the Head Chef and Sous Chefs to ensure smooth front and back of house operations.
5. Work with the Restaurant Manager on daily operations and maintain financial and administrative records.
6. Gather customer feedback and suggest improvements.
7. Ensure proper food presentation and handling procedures with the F&B team.
8. Handle guest complaints to ensure satisfaction.
9. Inspect food and beverage presentation regularly and manage inventory to drive sales.
10. Schedule staff and manage budgets effectively.
11. Oversee the safe opening and closing of the restaurant and F&B areas, ensuring smooth service.
12. Implement training, coaching, and feedback to uphold standards across the team.
