We stand at the intersection of tech and retail in the B2B space, developing innovative purchasing and procurement solutions to help reimagine buying. /p pMid‑Market Account Executives are responsible for building and managing their book of business leveraging solution‑selling, traditional and digital prospecting tactics, and supporting long‑term strategic customer relationships. The primary responsibilities include prospecting, expert knowledge of features and products to create personalized solutions for each institution (feature adoption), and developing relationships with buying decision makers across functional areas such as Information Technology, Facilities, and more. Account Executives will ensure recommended solutions meet our customer’s procurement needs and will recommend approaches and alternatives that fit their environment, including but not limited to contracting and competitive requirements unique to public institutions, eProcurement integration, advanced payment, and automated reconciliation processes. The candidate will work closely with customers to manage deployment and ensure that our solutions are successfully adopted. Ideal candidates will have relevant consultative sales experience and a proven track record of meeting and exceeding program goals and revenue targets. /p h3Key Job Responsibilities /h3 ul liInitiate prospecting and lead generation activities to businesses and organizations with quota and goals /li liAssist customers with registration and present registered customers with Amazon Business account tours /li liMeet or exceed targets for customer acquisition and customer spend adoption /li liEducate and network with key prospect and customer contacts /li liRelay market needs and requirements back to internal Amazon teams including Product Management, Technical and Category Management teams /li liDrive customer satisfaction /li liWork closely with marketing, merchandising, business development, customer service and other key internal Amazon stakeholders /li /ul h3Basic Qualifications /h3 ul liExperience with MS Office Suite, CRMs (Salesforce) and other systems /li liBachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent work experience /li li3+ years of B2B sales experience /li liExperience identifying, developing, negotiating, and closing opportunities across a wide spectrum of customer engagement levels /li liExperience positioning and selling technology to new customers and new market segments /li /ul h3Preferred Qualifications /h3 ul li2+ years of inside sales experience /li liKnowledge of procurement and source to pay methods at small and medium businesses /li liExperience influencing at all levels within an organization, particularly at the executive level /li liExperience exceeding sales targets using a consultative, solutions‑focused approach or equivalent /li /ul pAmazon is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of protected veteran status, disability, or other legally protected status. /p pThe base salary range for this position is CAD 94,600.00 – 127,700.00 annually. As a total compensation company, Amazon’s package may include other elements such as sign‑on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on experience, qualifications, and location.
