At KPMG, you will have the opportunity to help clients, the company, and colleagues address and solve complex challenges. Our Advisory services assist companies in business model transformation, process improvement, digitisation, risk analysis, and financial transactions.
Our Restructuring services team supports clients in debt and industrial restructuring, providing financial advisory and support to stabilize businesses and enable sustainable change. Our consultants work on debt restructuring, distressed M&As, and lender advisory activities for multinationals, family enterprises, private equity, and financial institutions. Recognized for excellence, our team received the Finance Community Award for Italian “Restructuring Team of the Year” in 2022.
We are recruiting recent and near graduates for our Florence office, eager to challenge themselves in a demanding environment.
Responsibilities include:
1. Analyzing financial performance of target companies;
2. Financial modelling and business planning;
3. Reviewing business plans independently;
4. Conducting Commercial and Operational Due Diligence;
5. Negotiating with stakeholders (financial institutions and investors);
6. Handling distressed M&As with industrial partners and investment funds;
7. Cash management and turnaround strategies;
8. Cost analysis and organizational improvement.
Your skills and characteristics
This role is ideal if you have:
* 2-3 years of experience in restructuring, corporate finance, or company crisis;
* A degree in business with a focus on finance or engineering management;
* Excellent English skills, ideally with international study or work experience;
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
