Enterprise Account Manager
In this role you will develop strong relationships, earn trust, and provide impactful payments insights that help customers grow. You will own the customer relationship, identify commercial opportunities, drive commercial discussions, and bring a strategic mindset and commercial approach to the role.
What You’ll Do
* Relationship management – Build strong customer relationships and navigate organizational structures to align the right external and internal stakeholders. Develop a global network within Adyen and work collaboratively across cultures and time zones.
* Commercial acumen – Drive commercial discussions with customers while meeting strategic and financial targets for assigned accounts.
* Strategic consultation – Act as the human dimension of Adyen’s product, delivering expertise, education, and payment guidance. Position Adyen as a trusted partner and use data to tell compelling stories.
* Project management – Prioritize and execute short- and long-term projects with varying timelines across multiple accounts.
* Feedback – Serve as the voice for your customer internally, championing their needs and providing a feedback loop.
Who You Are
* Experience: 4‑7 years in account management, product management or a related role in complex enterprise software, technical infrastructure or payments.
* Engagement: Skilled at developing strong working relationships at all levels of management.
* Leadership: Passionate about leading strategic payments conversations, presenting business reviews, and coordinating high‑level technical discussions.
* Analytical: Comfortable synthesizing complex data sets and using data to tell a clear story.
* Language: Full professional written and verbal proficiency in Italian and English.
* Project focus: Proven ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects across departments while motivating collaborators to achieve results.
Additional Points
* Location: Milan office.
* Hybrid workplace – we value in‑person collaboration and do not offer remote‑only roles.
* Travel: Domestic and international travel required.
Benefits
Total compensation range: €78,300.00 – €122,550.00.
Contractual level: Impiegato – 1° Livello, under the CCNL Terziario, Distribuzione e Servizi provisions.
