Job Description:
As a Manufacturing Line Operations Leader, you will play a key role in ensuring the efficient execution of daily production plans. This involves coordinating operations, workforce, and material flow to meet schedules while maintaining high standards of Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE), Quality, and Operational excellence.
The successful candidate will lead production teams through Standard Work and Lean Principles, promoting a culture of continuous improvement and excellence. Key responsibilities include:
* Coordinating operations to execute daily production plans.
* Ensuring performance and achieving KPIs such as On-Time Delivery, Productivity, Zero Defects, Cost of Bad Quality, workforce and machine efficiency, and HSE indicators.
* Leading operations through Standard Work and Lean Principles.
* Role modeling key rules and standards in the shop.
* Implementing training plans on HSE and technical domains.
* Supporting hiring plans, interviewing, onboarding, and on-the-job training.
* Supporting new technology implementation and equipment start-up.
* Staying updated on manufacturing excellence tools and theories.
* Championing HSE, compliance, and quality initiatives.
* Supporting talent attraction and growth activities, including internships, academies, and collaborations with educational institutions.
About the Role:
To succeed in this position, you should have a Bachelor's degree in STEM disciplines from an accredited university and at least 5 years of experience in Manufacturing Operations Management. You should be capable of managing multiple tasks and setting effective priorities, proactive and accurate in data processing, and possess excellent communication skills and fluency in English. Six Sigma or equivalent quality training is preferred, along with knowledge of value stream mapping, AWO, Kaizen, 5S, and lean tools.
