For its Balkan countries market, Exide is looking for an Export Key Account Manager to be responsible for maintaining strong relationships with key clients that generate the most income, and for developing sales and related activities to define and pursue strategic customers. The role involves utilizing company resources to develop and implement strategic solutions to achieve long-term client goals and attract new clients.
Responsibilities include:
1. Ensuring sales results in revenue, profit (contribution, customer EBIT/P&L), and cash flow (DSO and overdue collections) within the designated accounts, brands, or areas;
2. Developing profitable sales to key clients across primary, secondary brands, and private labels;
3. Contributing to medium and long-term organizational objectives through strategic planning;
4. Analyzing market trends, distribution channels, and competitors;
5. Contributing to pricing strategies and customer satisfaction goals within defined limits (e.g., 2-year plans, marketing programs, logistics);
6. Communicating effectively with field sales, customer service, sales administration, and area managers, and reporting regularly on account performance to management.
Requirements:
* Academic degree in Electrical, Electronic, Energetic Engineering, or Economics; a different educational background may be considered if coupled with relevant experience;
* At least 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the battery industry;
* Proficiency in MS Office Suite;
* Fluency in English, both spoken and written;
* Strong communication, negotiation skills, customer orientation, and results-driven approach.
