We are looking for a dynamic and results-oriented Private Label Key Account Manager to develop and manage the Private Label business in the Central European Area.
The role is responsible for building strategic partnerships with major retailers, driving revenue growth, and overseeing the entire commercial proces, from tender management to product launch.
This position plays a key role in expanding the private label segment, working closely with marketing, R&D;, supply chain, and finance.
Main Responsibilities
Define and execute the Private Label commercial strategy for Central Europe
Identify and acquire new private label customers (retailers, discount chains, buying groups)
Manage and develop existing clients to build long-term partnerships
Lead negotiations on pricing, contracts, and commercial terms
Ensure profitable growth aligned with company objectives
Customer & Project Management
Manage the entire tender process, from customer request to final offer
Serve as the key point of contact throughout product development and launch
Translate customer requirements into clear briefs for R&D; and Operations
Ensure timely and successful product launches
Market & Category Analysis
Monitor market trends, competitors, and private label developments
Provide market intelligence and strategic recommendations
Support the innovation pipeline with relevant concepts for clients
Conduct store checks in key reference markets
Requirement
Minimum 5 years' experience in FMCG sales - Private Label Business
Strongly preferred experience in chocolate, confectionery, bakery or food
Proven track record managing international Retail Clients
Experience in tender management and complex negotiations
Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills
Strategic mindset combined with operational execution
Analytical and data-driven approach
High level of autonomy and accountability
German (preferred) or other Central European languages are a plus
Proactive and solution-oriented
Ability to thrive in dynamic environments
