General Purpose & Automotive Microcontroller (GPAM) division is developing Digital IPs for Microcontroller products in leading edge technologies requiring state of the art architecture, analog & digital designs and technologies. Designing the digital IP that controls analog subblocks (such as analog-to-digital converters, power management units, and non-volatile memories) requires knowledge of both digital and analog design and verification methods, as well as a deep understanding of the product's performance and power requirements. YOUR ACTIVITY - Studying the functional requirements of the analog sub-block. - Designing the micro-architecture of the digital IP that controls the analog sub-block. - Describing the digital IP micro-architecture in System Verilog. - Stand-alone test of the developed digital IP interfaced with the analog sub-block. - RTL signoff and synthesis trials will be also performed during the thesis period.
