RINA is currently recruiting for a System Engineer to join its office in TURIN within the Electronics and Systems Engineering Division.
Mission
The System Engineer supports the client in developing tailor-made system solutions that meet specific requirements and add value through design, process optimization, and efficiency. Responsibilities include defining system specifications by collaborating with client stakeholders and end-users to understand needs.
The position is also aimed at junior profiles.
Key Accountabilities
1. Requirement Analysis: Collaborate with the client development team to specify system requirements, including functional, non-functional, and interface requirements.
2. System Functionality Definition: Identify and describe key functionalities considering requirements and user needs.
3. System Specification Development: Organize and structure the System Specification clearly and coherently.
4. Review and Approval: Conduct periodic reviews with key stakeholders to ensure requirements' accuracy and obtain approval.
5. Change Management: Manage changes in system requirements during development, ensuring proper evaluation, documentation, and implementation.
Education
Master’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or Electronics
Qualifications
* Basic knowledge of front-edge technologies and Space & Defence systems, including experience in drafting and verifying system requirements for air/naval defense systems.
* Basic programming skills in at least one language.
* Knowledge of international standards (e.g., ISO 15288, ECSS-E-ST-10, MIL-STD-498, DO-254, DO-178).
* Experience with SW modelling tools (e.g., Matlab/Simulink).
* Ability to analyze data and create reports, metrics, and graphs.
* Proficiency with engineering tools like IBM DOORS, Microsoft Office Suite.
* Key competencies such as strategic thinking, networking, client focus, trust-building, decision-making, emotional management, adaptability, sustainability promotion, and forward-thinking, as outlined.
