Clason Point Partners is seeking an Integrated Logistics Specialist (ILS) to support a contract in Catania, Italy working on a US Base. The ILS will be responsible for receiving ATAC Depot Level Repairable items (DLR) material from customers at a designated collection point, provide disposition determinations, enter pertinent data into a computer database to generate shipping documentation (BC2 1348-1 and shipping manifest, or GBL, CBL, etc.) for Transaction Item Reporting (TIR) and Proof of Delivery/Shipment (POD/POS), and complete all material processes (Screening, Packaging, and Shipping).
Responsibilities Include:
- Technical screen/verify material identification.
- Reject back to the customer on Non-ATAC DLR items.
- Record receipt/shipping data in ATAC Database.
- Package DLR material IAW NAVSUP P700-CNP level 2 and prepare for shipment in the appropriate container and consolidating for shipment in Multi Unit Container (MUC).
- Perform crating/woodworking (nail-ups, banding, etc.) to prepare item for shipment as required.
- Create barcode MIL-STD 129 labels for non-automated 1348s. Using a PC/barcode printer, enter pertinent data to create barcode labels.
Requirements
- Must have obtained a High School diploma or GED.
- Must have or be able to obtain clearance to work on base in Spain, Roto
- Possess a minimum of four (4) years logistical experience, with at least two (2) years in a Navy or Marine Corps environment
- The position will require the operation of a forklift for loading/unloading trucks, vans, etc.
- Must lift up to 40 pounds and use material handling equipment (MHE), including pallet jack, forklift, etc.
