DESCRIPTION : The PPE Sales Manager role reports to the Head of Sales and is responsible for achieving assigned targets aligned with the company's sales strategy. This role involves managing SMB and CA PPE teams and collaborating within the Safety and Hygiene Business Line. The manager will lead their team towards continuous development by enhancing sales orientation, negotiation skills, PPE service and product knowledge, and adopting a matrix way of working. MAIN ACCOUNTABILITIES : Identify and improve team members' skills, knowledge, and behavior to maximize their career potential. Provide support, coaching, and feedback through regular 1:1 meetings to align on vision, personal and company goals, and to develop business plans. Collaborate with other Sales Managers in the Safety and Hygiene business line, SMB, and Corporate to share best practices and develop solutions to drive PPE sales profitably and strategically. Conduct ad hoc customer visits with SMB PPE and CA PPE teams as part of continuous improvement initiatives. Identify specific training needs for team members. Assist the Head of PPE Sales in recruiting, training, and appraising staff according to HR guidelines. Maintain full control over key sales and cost KPIs. QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS : Excellent organizational skills, including time management, planning, prioritizing, and completing responsibilities on time. Willingness and ability to adapt to new tasks, work methods, and processes. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, tailored to the audience. Natural leadership qualities with an understanding of people behavior; ability to build and maintain relationships at all levels; lead by example with respect, trust, and support. Strategically minded with the ability to balance short-term actions and long-term interests. Good listening skills, receptive to feedback, and capable of contributing new ideas. Proven leadership experience in driving business growth through strategic and situational leadership. Solid experience in challenging, competitive sales environments.
