What you will do

For our Building Technologies & Solutions division in Milan/Rome we are currently looking for a Key Account Solution Manager in Building Solutions dedicated to Building Management Systems.

As KAM in Building Solutions – BMS, you will be responsible for building and maintaining long-term relationships within End Users as well as for the overall promotion of Johnson Controls products and solutions and your goal will be to create solutions for long term in terms of BMS supporting needs of our customers.

How you will do it

1. Responsible to create relationship with the End Users and key influencers, improving it month by month
2. Direct management of all sales negotiations up to final closure
3. Manage proposals ensuring that a quote will meet customers’ application and operational needs
4. Validate assumptions made during promotion meeting and builds a detailed cost estimate and scope of work
5. Provide risk analysis for the complete solution
6. Understand of the full range of JC offerings and their applications in customer solutions
7. Devise multiple offering to meet specific program requirements
8. Assist in identifying specification issues or interpretation discrepancies and providing solutions to resolve
9. Review estimate with appropriate operations & sales team to get mutual agreement on estimate
10. Own the JC value proposition to consultants by continuously optimizing the link between consultant’s operation and our business objectives, needs, requirements and the JC’ solutions in order to provider a total value solution and competitive advantage
11. Understand & apply knowledge of competitor’s business products & solutions

What we look for

12. Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering or equivalent through experience
13. Five to eight years’ experience in building systems (BMS and Integrated solutions) or operational processes
14. Demonstrated strong technical subject matter expertise to faster credibility, loyalty, trust, and commitment
15. Demonstrated commercial attitude to establish partnership with customers
16. Demonstrated ability to influence consultants in their technical projects’ choices
17. Strong teamwork attitude
18. Computer literacy particularly with MS Word and Excel
19. Fluent Italian & English language skills (verbal, reading and writing)
20. Ability to work under pressure, whilst ensuring deadlines are met
