PpJoin to apply for the bBusiness Development Manager /b role at bManpower Italy /b /p pMP Professional, in collaboration with a multinational company specialized in industrial packaging, logistics and digital solutions worldwide, is looking for an experienced and driven bBusiness Development Manager /b to join a dynamic team. /p pThis key role will be responsible for expanding our customer base in the Emilia-Romagna area, leveraging industry expertise and a strong professional network. The ideal candidate has a passion for industrial packaging solutions and is eager to contribute to the client’s mission of delivering sustainable packaging innovations. /p pYou will create business opportunities with new customers, identify their ongoing needs and provide complete packaging solutions (CPS) and services to meet those needs. Identify and develop new revenue streams within existing accounts following the start-up phase of business. /p h3Main Responsibilities: /h3 ul liIdentify and develop new business opportunities within the Emilia-Romagna region /li liLeverage existing client contacts and actively prospect new customers /li liGrow a new portfolio of accounts, ensuring long-term partnerships /li liCollaborate with internal teams to tailor solutions based on customer needs /li liAnalyze market trends and competitors to optimize sales strategies /li liPrepare and present compelling proposals to clients /li liNegotiate business agreements on a regular basis including price agreement terms and conditions /li liRegular and proactive communication with customer base /li liInitiate and provide administrative support and documents as necessary to facilitate order processing, booking, shipment, installation, acceptance, invoicing, and payment /li liAssist in collection of payables as needed upon request from Accounting /li liGenerate new opportunities calling on existing customers and/or following up on incoming leads. /li liIncrease gross margins where applicable /li liApplies a consultative approach to all customer contacts from owner-level to C-level leaders /li liAppointment setting, online collaborative and in-person meetings with potential and existing clients /li liArticulate clients’s complete packaging solution (CPS) and services /li liResolve customer issues in a timely and positive manner /li liDrives the development and implementation of new solutions as additional product or service opportunities arise within new and existing customer base: /li liFollow Client sales process in drafting and presenting new product and service proposals. /li liExamine customer specifications and prepare proposals that fulfill customer requirements. /li liCoordinate with Client Engineering Center regarding design requirements. /li liAdheres to and complies with Client’s processes including opportunity creation and pipeline management, quoting, order management, purchasing, etc. /li liEvaluate and qualify lead opportunities and enter lead data into CRM, as applicable /li liMaintain awareness of competitor’s sales efforts and programs in the branch territory /li liConducts all business transactions with Divisional and Company goals in mind. /li liProtect Client’s best interests in all customer and prospective accounts. /li liUse all reasonable efforts to sell Client products and services. /li liAccomplishes all tasks as appropriately assigned or requested. /li /ul h3Experience and Education Requirements: /h3 ul liDegree in Packaging, Business, Marketing, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience /li li3+ years of experience in Sales position /li li2+ Years Sales Experience in a Project Manager capacity or selling to industrial customers /li li3-5 years of experience in industrial packaging (B2B environment) is a must /li liLeadership experience in a fast-paced environment is a plus /li liUnderstanding of principles of product costing and pricing /li liSolid understanding of Quality Management Systems and Procedures /li liDemonstrated ability to identify and solve complex customer problems /li liSales or business development experience with any of the following: /li liIndustrial, transport, or export packaging services /li liFoam, corrugated, PE Bags, etc. /li liSupply Chain, Logistics, Warehousing, or Inventory Control /li liThird Party Packaging and/or Contract Packaging Services /li liSales experience in heavy industries and/or automotive, telecom, defense, military, energy. /li liFluent in English, both written and verbal /li liAbility to read, analyze and interpret the most complex legal and financial documents /li liAbility to be able to communicate clearly and effectively to all employees, customer, and vendors /li liAbility to be able to make effective persuasive presentations /li /ul h3Professional Principles: /h3 ul liTo always act in a professional and ethical manner. /li liTo maintain a positive work environment and recognize that this is a shared responsibility and includes recognition, respect, co-operation, and open communication. /li /ul h3Skills and Competences: /h3 ul liStrong communication skills – to the point and straightforward /li liStrong analytical and problem-solving skills /li liGood Excel skills, including strong financial modelling skills, and proficient in MS Power Point and other MS Office applications. /li liStrong interpersonal, organizational and communication skills, and comfortable interacting with all levels of the organization, customers, and vendors /li liThe ability to quickly identify, prioritize, and execute tasks to meet critical project deadlines /li liTeam leadership skills /li liExperience problem-solving within multi-faceted and complex systems /li liExperience negotiating with third-party
