Position Overview The Advisor, Commercial Risk, is responsible for selling new accounts and renewing existing accounts, aligning with the firm's and individual goals. Building and maintaining relationships with clients, prospects, the service team, insurance company partners, and centers of influence while identifying and soliciting sales prospects are key aspects of this role. Primary Responsibilities Present proposals professionally, reviewing coverages in detail to ensure client understanding. Communicate effectively with clients, prospects, insurance partners, and the service team. Finalize sales by collecting necessary documents and briefing the service team. Develop prospects through community involvement, seminars, industry networking, and referrals. Prepare information and recommendations for prospective accounts, adhering to firm policies. Ensure accuracy, timeliness, and completeness in all interactions to minimize errors and omissions. Maintain knowledge of the insurance industry and underwriting criteria for relevant insurance partners. Represent the firm positively in the community and with insurance partners. Perform additional duties as assigned by leadership. Seek opportunities to improve firm processes and escalate issues as needed. Meet monthly new business goals. Education and Experience Certification: None required or preferred. Licenses: Property & Casualty license required by the State Department of Insurance or willingness to obtain within 90 days. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Align with the firm's core values and culture. Technical Skills Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
