Purpose: Analyzes the technical feasibility for the development of new products and manufacturing processes or for the introduction of improvement to the existing ones. Main responsibilities: Develops new special products to meet customers quality demands. Ensures quality product by detecting problems, making corrective actions and improving production results. Establishes customer satisfaction goals as required. Provides support to the commercial area analyzing offerings, assessments, investments and equipment for new projects as well as defining sale terms together with the Credit area and pricing with the Commercial Planning area, based on market and customer segmentation. Proactively motivates, coaches, communicates with and develops his/her staff and manages HR related activities in line with Human Resources norms and procedures. Protects from damage, theft or misuse the facilities, equipment and other physical resources assigned to his/her area.
